This Privacy Policy describes how Unsubscribe LLC ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use aipilotlicense.com (the "Site"). We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is necessary to operate the CAIP program.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you provide your name during account setup, we store that as well.

Payment information: Examination bundle purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information. Stripe may retain billing details in accordance with its own privacy policy. We receive and store a Stripe customer ID to associate your purchase with your account.

Usage data: We store your curriculum progress (which modules and sections you have completed, time spent), notes you create while studying, and your examination record (including answers submitted and score).

Technical data: We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages accessed) for security and debugging purposes. We use HTTP-only session cookies to maintain your login state.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and maintain your account and curriculum access.
To process payments and issue the CAIP credential upon passing the examination.
To display your progress, notes, and credential status within the application.
To contact you about your account, examination, or credential (e.g., proctor scheduling, credential renewal).
To improve the Site and curriculum based on aggregate usage patterns.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Stripe: For payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare: Our infrastructure provider. Data is processed on Cloudflare's edge network. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights.

4. The Credential Registry

The CAIP credential registry at /credential is public. If your credential is active, your full name and credential ID are visible to anyone who looks up your credential ID. Your email address and examination score are not publicly displayed.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and examination records for as long as your account is active and for a period of five years thereafter for record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 7).

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), HTTP-only session cookies, and access controls on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at sales@unsubscribe.llc. Note that deletion of your account will also permanently delete your examination record and credential. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie (caip_session) to maintain your login state. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Site to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Site or by email. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
